This course will be taught by Michael Pollock and follow the general outline of the American Bonsai Society’s Introduction to Bonsai course. Students will explore Bonsai history, style and tools, pruning, wiring and
styling of bonsais, container selection, soil, potting and maintenance. At the end of the course, students will have a good working knowledge of the practice of bonsai and will have created 2-3 bonsai trees to keep and develop.
