| Join Master Gardener and Dahlia Expert, Ed Bonci, as he takes growers through a typical growing season from April to November. Ed is a dahlia aficionado and
show judge who will be sharing his beautiful dahlia images as well as his expertise in caring for these diverse flowers. Topics covered during his presentation will
include: soil prep, planting, disbudding and fall care from digging to dividing and storing tubers for the Winter.
Ed grows 200 dahlias in three separate gardens: his own garden in Eastchester, NY, The Master Gardener’s Demonstration Garden at The Hart’s Brook Park andPreserve in Hartsdale, NY and The Fountains At Rivervue Assisted Living Facility in Tuckahoe, NY. Additionally, he is a member of the Mid Island, Long Island, CT and Greenwich Dahlia Societies. When not in his garden, Ed can be found on the flight deck of a Boeing 767 flying cargo to Europe and Africa for DHL.
