MISSION
The Garden Education Center is a non-profit volunteer
organization dedicated to promoting horticulture, conservation and the arts through educational programs, outreach activities and special events.

Office: Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Summer Hours- 9:00am - 2:00pm
Greenhouse: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Greenhouse is closed Tuesdays, July & August
Garden Education Center is closed on national holidays. Due to inclement weather, the GEC follows the Greenwich Public School system.
MEMBERSHIP
Members receive reduced rates on programs, special mailings, invitations to member-only events, and the program catalog 2 times annually.
PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Prior registration and payment are required for all programs.

CANCELLATION POLICY
If the GEC cancels a program, registrants will be notified and receive a full refund.
Registrant must cancel at least three (3) working days before the start of the program or five (5) working days before the start of a trip, to receive a house credit applicable to future programs.
RENTALS
The GEC facilities, located in the beautiful Montgomery Pinetum, are available
for rent for meetings, programs, special events, weddings, other parties, etc.

From I-95
Exit 4 - Indian Field Road (from NY turn left, from CT turn right).
Follow Indian Field Road to the end traffic light. Turn right onto Route 1 Post Road (Putnam Ave.). At fourth traffic light, turn left onto Orchard Street. Proceed .2 miles and turn right onto Bible Street. Follow Bible Street .7 miles; the entrance to the Garden Education Center is on your left at sign reading Montgomery Pinetum, Garden Education Center.
From the Merritt Parkway
Exit 31 - North Street
Follow sign at end of exit ramp toward Greenwich Business District, taking North Street south to first traffic light. Just before traffic light turn left and bear right onto Old Church Road. Follow Old Church Road to the end traffic light. Turn left onto Route 1 Post Road (Putnam Ave.). At the seventh traffic light, turn left onto Orchard Street. Proceed .2 miles and turn right onto Bible Street. Follow Bible Street .7 miles; the entrance to the Garden Education Center is on your left, sign reading Montgomery Pinetum, Garden Education Center.
