Annual May Gardeners' Market

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.


This event showcases select vendors who will be selling spectacular collections of annuals, perennials, wildflowers, herbs, hanging baskets, unique plants and orchids. In addition, there will be other special items including jams, homemade delicacies, and gardening books.

If you share our excitement and love of peonies, this trip to Litchfield County is for you! A guided tour of Cricket Hill Garden, a nursery devoted to introducing gardeners to the beauty of tree and herbaceous peonies. Hundreds of peonies have been grown over the last 20+ years on this terraced woodland garden, Peony Heaven. Lunch at West Street Grill in Litchfield.


Bucks County Nursery Crawl

Leave GEC 7:00 a.m. Return 6:30 p.m.

Box lunch and snacks included.

Join us for a nursery crawl in one of the most beautiful parts of Pennsylvania – Bucks County.  We will travel to Peace Tree Farm, a great wholesale specialty grower who has been featured on Martha Stewart. Next to Carousel Lavender Farm, a gentleman’s farm with a wonderful gift shop and beautiful gardens. We will then return to a favorite shopping haunt – F.P. Kolb, for new garden and decorative accessories. Our last stop will be Paxson Hill Farm, a nursery estate with a terrific selection of unusual plants.
